Wanted: The Kruse Typewriter
The Kruse was a very peculiar index typewriter produced by the Kruse Manufacturing Company of New York. It was patented in 1890 by Robert H. Ingersoll who had a knack for such odd writing machines. Other than The Kruse, Ingersoll also invented the Dollar and aptly named Ingersoll. All three are rare today.
