Wanted: Jones Typographer Typewriter
Like the Cooper, the Jones was produced before the term typewriter was developed. Thus, its official name is the Jones Typographer. It may also be referred to as the Jones Mechanical Typographer. Unlike the Cooper, which seems to have been a one-off, the Jones was commercially produced. It was invented ca.1853 by John Jones of New York and produced by the Rochester Novelty Works.
