Wanted: Yost Typewriter
The Yost typewriter was invented by its namesake, George Washington Newton Yost. He founded the Yost Writing Machine Company and began producing his typewriters ca.1887 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. These typewriters had full (double) keyboards with one set of uppercase keys and another for lowercase. They were also blindwriters meaning that they printed from underneath the platen so the user could not see what they were typing unless they stopped and flipped up the carriage to inspect their work.
