Apparatus

John H. Wilting of Buffalo, New York patented this "Fracture Setting Apparatus" in 1916. The idea was to offer a portable, fordable option to physicians of patience with broken bones. This way the physician had the option of visiting the patient rather than vice versa. The apparatus weighed about 35 pounds and folded into its case when not in use.
