The Walker Silent typewriter was invented by Charles Wellington Walker but it was his son, Ario Campbell Walker, that patented it because his father had already passed. With the help of his brother, Charles Wellington Walker Jr., and financier Roy H. Hover, the men established the Walker Silent Typewriter Company in 1921 in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
The 2 stock certificates on this page and patent drawing are the only known clues of the typewriters possible existence.
