Wagner Schneider Typewriter

Wanted: Wagner Schneider Typewriter

Inventor Wagner-Schneider of Steckborn, Switzerland patented this index typewriter for the blind in November of 1887. At first glance it's quite similar in form and function to the Sun but, of course, there are significant differences. Most importantly, the Wagner-Schneider composed in braille. It's also more substantial and better built and, unlike the Sun which utilized a roller for inking, the Wagner-Schneider utilized two ribbon spools.

(blindenschrift, brailleschrift, Schweiz)
