The Tytell Typewriter was designed ca.1951 by typeface aficionado Martin K. Tytell of New York, NY. However, according to a couple typewriter aficionados, Will Davis & Richard Polt, Peter Tytell may have done little more than dressed up the guts of another brand, the Barr, in a slick new suit.
