The Burns Typewriter
The Burns typewriter was invented by Frank Burns of Westfield, New York and it was made by The Burns Typewriter Company of Buffalo. Unfortunately, the company was plagued with bad luck which resulted in very few of these machines having been made. The Burns was a well built blindwriter that significantly resembled Smith-Premier's No.1 model. Even though the paper table reads "The Burns No.1," which infers the production of a subsequent model, no evidence of such an example is known.
