The Sphinx Typewriter was produced ca.1913 by Sphinx S.A. of Fleurier, Switzerland. It was invented by Samuel Gertsch, also of Fleurier.

Sphinx S.A. also produced the Darling typewriter and the Constançon No.2 braillewriter.
