This electric heater was offered for sale by the Simplex Electric Heating Company of Boston, Massachusetts. It was patented in 1908 by inventors James I. Ayer and Horace B. Gale.These Simplex Quality heaters were ideal small space heaters. Like many antique appliances of the era, it was constructed solid and designed in the Victorian style.
