Wanted: Remington No.4 Typwriter
The Remington Standard No.4 typewriter, also known as the "Perfected" Remington No.4, was produced by E. Remington & Sons of Ilion, New York and first marketed by the Fairbanks, Moorse & Co. in 1884. The No.4 was part for the succeeding line of typewriters offered by Remington after the Sholes & Glidden. They were significantly smaller and less ornate than the Sholes & Gliddens but a few features were retained like the oversized platen and upstrike.
