Wanted: Remington No.4 Typwriter
Remington's Standard No.4 typewriter, also known as the "Perfected" Remington No.4, was produced by E. Remington & Sons of Ilion, New York and marketed by the Fairbanks, Morse & Co. in 1884. The No.4 was part for the succeeding line of typewriters offered by Remington after the Sholes & Glidden. They were significantly smaller and less ornate than Sholes & Gliddens but a few features were retained, such as the oversized platen and upstrike. I'm also interested in the No.3 model.
