Molle No.3 typewriter. Its serial number, 6887, dates it to 1921 Produced in Oshkosh, WI by the Molle Typewriter Co.
CONDITION! CONDITION! CONDITION! This is, easily one of the best Molle in the world. Go ahead, Google it.
The cosmetic condition is excellent! The paint is really glossy and really, really well preserved. The decals are nearly perfect and pinstripes have also survives well! The keytops are yellowing, some more than others. Nickel plating is in amazing condition. No rust and no significant dust. Display ready.
Functionally, the typewriter works rather well. Carriage moves well with the escapement release lever and by keyboard. The paper does slip a smidge, the platen is hard and the ribbon is dry but this example could be a used daily with minimal effort.
An original, functional case is included. It still has the original hold-down brackets and thumb nuts for securing the Molle within the case.
The instruction manual is a high-quality modern reproduction.
