★ I have other typewriters ★ Please take a look ★Sun No.2 typewriter serial numbered 10,251. Produced ca.1901 in New York, NY by the Sun Typewriter Co.CONDITION! CONDITION! CONDITION! This is the absolute best Sun I have ever had.The cosmetic condition is excellent! The paint and pinstripes are really well preserved. Decals are about almost perfect. There is no real rust to mention but the nickel plating in some areas is dull or even worn off. No significant dust, either. Ink reservoir is still present which is missing on a majority of Suns. Display ready.Functionally, the typewriter works well for basic demonstration purposes. Carriage advances with each tap of the keyboard. The typebars do stick frequently. Sheets of paper slip because the feed rollers are old and flat but I was still able to produce a type sample with the old ink.An original case is included which has also retained most of its paint and pinstripes. The wood base has no issues. Only flaw is that one latch, on the left side, is completely gone.The instruction manual and trade catalog are high-quality modern reproductions.I have other typewriters.
