Antique Postal No.5 Typewriter with Case, ca.1905.
There are ONLY about 20 No.5's known worldwide. It is a very scarce model from the Postal Typewriter Company of Norwalk, Connecticut.The example listed here is in Very Good Condition. It is complete. The ribbon spools, typewheel upper paper scale and case are all still present. It works well, too. The carriage advances with each tap of the keyboard and the typewheel reacts accordingly. The paint has minor flaws, including a spot that was touched up on the top plate. The nickel plating has flaked off in a few areas. More than anything, this Postal just needs a minor polish. An original case is included though it is in disrepair, as photographed. Again, this is a Hard-to-Find Postal No.5 in Very Good Condition Overall!
