This was the last model to by manufactured by the Postal Typewriter Company of Norwalk, Connecticut. The Postal No.7 was invented by William Prehn Quentell. It was place on the markets in 1908. Unlike the earlier Postal models, the No.7 was a little larger and had an enclosed top. Some of these were labeled as No.8s for foreign markets but they were exactly the same as the 7s. This is a typewriter that was made here in my home State so there is no one more eager to own one.
