Wanted:

Motorola

DynaTAC 8000X

Collecting the first of anything never gets old, even if that first is something as contemporary as the first commercially sold mobile telephone. The Motorola DynaTac 8000X, a.k.a "The Brick," was that phone. It was first offered in 1983, about 10 years after inventor Martin Cooper placed the first cellular phone call on a prototype he developed. DynaTac was the abbreviation for "Dynamic Adaptive Total Area Coverage."
