The Mizpah typewriter, a variant of the Chicago, was meant for typing in Hebrew. It was marketed by The Mitzpah Company of New York. The typewriter would have most likely been produced in Chicago, Illinois at the Chicago Typewriter Company's factory.

It's peculiar that the ad has the company name spelled slightly differently than what is stenciled on the actual typewriter.

Thus far, the only found artifact related to the Mizpah is an instruction manual which you may acquire here..
