The Mitex Typewriter (Schreibmaschine Mitex) was invented ca.1922 by Franz Kraudzun. It was produced by Mitex Schreibmaschinen, GmbH of Spandau, Berlin, Germany. The Mitex name was an acronym for "Mitteleuropäiche Export und Import AG" (Central Europe Export and Import). This typewriter was succeeded by the Tell.
