Wanted: Manograph Typewriter
The Manograph typewriter was produced by the Manograph Company of Berlin, Germany. It's an index typewriter that's very similar to the Coffman except at least twice as large. Nonetheless, it weighed just 2.25 kg.
Like the Coffman, it used a stylus to select characters (39 in all) from the legend on top, inking was by rollers and print application by rubber type sleeve. Unlike the Coffman, the Manograph also had a coiled sheet reservoir
The Manograph typewriter was marketed ca.1906 for 20 Marks. An old advertisement dated to 1906 stated that 100,000 had already been produced. That was obviously a massive misrepresentation.
