This little device, Keeler's "Little Joker" Pocket Printing Wheel, is a bit of a novelty. It was patented on November 12, 1878 by William H. Keeler as a "Revolving Pocket Hand-Stamp" and it was produced by the Keeler's Little Joker Company of Buffalo, New York. It is not uncommon to find these stamped with another company's name, too, as part of an advertising campaign. No matter the name on it, it was produced by Keeler's company.
