This is an interesting piece of advertising. It was produced for Griswold Manufacturing, the cast iron cookware producers of Erie, Pennsylvania, and featured a 14" skillet with a wind-up clock in the center. In raised letters, the words "Erie Up To Time" and "We Sell Hollow Ware" were pressed into perimeter of the pan. On the clock face it read "Griswold Mfg., Erie, Penn." and the trademarked spider logo was printed just below the 12 o'clock mark. Just think of all the wonderful things I could fry with this piece... just kidding... or am I?
