The Englewood Jr. on this page was advertised ca.1905 by The Englewood Company of Chicago, IL. Because Englewood never actually produced any of its own typewriters, the models that the company sold were marked with the words "Consolidated Factories" to identify to the consumer that Englewoods were simply rebranded from other manufacturers. For example, the Englewood Jr. on this page was rebranded from an American blindwriters. Another Englwood was merely a rebranded Williams. The company also advertised a 3rd version but without an image and none having been found yet its appearance is unknown.
