The Dukes Typewriter, a bookwriter, was invented by Harry S. Dukes, ca.1890. It would have been manufactured by the Dukes Typewriter Company of Little Rock, Arkansas. It's amazing to me just how much this typewriter resembles a 1970's Olivetti Lettera 31 with a missing carriage, yes?
