The Daw and TaiteTypewriter (sometimes spelled Tait), also briefly marketed as Daw's Type Reporter, was invented by Thomas George Daw and Hilder Daw of Kent, England. It was produced ca.1885 by the company of Daw and Taite Patent Typewriting Manufacturers of 63 Regents Place, Pall Mall, London. This machine is an early example of both an English typewriter as well as of a typewriter with a circular keyboard.
