The Dactygam typewriter was invented ca.1920 by Georges Moulin of Mortain, France. There were two models produced; model Nos.1 & 2. The Dactygam is an interesting typewriter because its keyboard had just 5 keys and was intended to be used with just one hand. It was, in essence, a pocket typewriter. The company claimed that a skilled user could produce up to 90 words per minute with the Dactygam.
