This beautiful typewriter was produced by the Burnett Typewriter Company of Chicago, Ill., U.S.A. and sold by catalog through Sears and Roebuck during the early part of the 20th century. I particularly love the curved front cowl. Though it serves a purpose in supporting the type bars, it is ultimately a rather awkward design. The Burnett was the successor of the Triumph Visible typewriter.
