The Brady and Warner is and index typewriter that was patented in 1878. It was named for inventors Gilbert Arnold Brady and Francis Fullmer Warner of Chicago, Illinois. The Brady and Warner is a very early typewriter that was constructed primarily of brass and, though it never went into commercial production, some examples were made.
