Wanted: Blodgett & Lerow Sewing Machine
These Boldgett & Lerow sewing machines were named for its inventors, Sherburne C. Blodgett and John A. Lerow, whom were awarded their patents on October 2, 1849. They were produced by several manufacturers including A. Bartholf of New York, Goddard, Rice & Co. of Worcester, Massachusetts and Orson C. Phelps on Harvard Place of Boston. The inventors termed Blodgett & Lerow models as "Rotary Sewing Machine."
