Beach Typewriter

The Beach Typewriter invented by Alfred Ely Beach of Stratford, CT, ca.1856. Beach patented it as an "Improvement in Printing Instruments for the Blind." His original patent model of the typewriter is in the possession of the Smithsonian Institute but no production model is known (yet).
