The Battistel Baby typewriter was invented by Ferruccio Battistel. It was produced ca.1929 by Società Anonima Costruzioni Mechanical Apparatus of Venice, Italy. Constructed of thick gauge sheet metal, the Baby was heavier than other toy typewriters like Marx and Simplex models.
